No Alternative is a pop/punk/rock band from suburban Detroit. Formed in 1996 and formerly known as "The Milkmen" they have played at a variety of venues in, around and outside of the metro area. Some of their most notable live performances include the 1st and 2nd Annual Detroit Punkfest's, and a spot on the Ernie Ball stage of the 2000 Vans Warped Tour at the Pontiac, MI show. They have received airplay on several local radio stations, and have been featured in area publications. On October 23rd, 2001 No Alternative released their debut full-length "Now or Never" on Static Records. Recorded at White Room studio in Detroit (Kid Rock's "Devil Without A Cause", etc.) and produced by John Smerek, "Now or Never" is the result of more than 5 years of songwriting. Now, with a national tour planned following a Midwestern warm up, No Alternative is ready to take their music out on the road. Their motive? Well, there comes a time for everything and everyone. For us, its now or never. |
